2¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup butter, softened ¾ cup granulated sugar ¾ cup packed brown sugar 2 large eggs 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cream butter and both sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets. Bake 9–12 minutes until golden. Cool on sheet 5 min, then transfer to rack.
