How do I calculate hours from now?
Enter an amount, choose hours, minutes, days, or weeks, select from now or ago, and the result updates to the exact local date and time.
Can I use a negative number?
Yes. A negative amount reverses the selected direction, so negative hours from now becomes hours ago.
How are daylight saving time changes handled?
The calculator uses JavaScript Date in your local time zone. Hours and minutes are added as elapsed time, while days and weeks move calendar dates and preserve the local clock time when possible.
Can I calculate from a date other than now?
Yes. Turn off Use current time and enter any local base date-time to calculate from that point.
