Is this random string generator cryptographically secure?

Yes. The generator uses the browser's built-in crypto.getRandomValues() API, which is a cryptographically strong random number generator suitable for tokens, passwords, salts and nonces. Avoid Math.random() for any security-sensitive purpose — this tool never uses it.

Can I generate many strings at once?

Yes. Set Quantity to any value between 1 and 1000 and the tool will produce that many random strings in one click — useful for seeding test databases or generating API key batches.

What character sets are available?

Accepted Answer

You can mix uppercase A–Z, lowercase a–z, digits 0–9 and 22 printable symbols. There are also presets for Hex (0-9, a-f), Base64 (alphanumeric + / + =) and UUID-style. Custom alphabets are supported by editing the custom field.

Is my generated data stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. All randomness comes from your browser's local crypto API. Strings are produced in memory and only displayed on this page. Nothing is ever sent to any server.
