What number formats are supported?

You can use plain numbers (1, 2, 3), 'Page X', 'X of Y' (Page 2 of 10), Roman numerals (i, ii, iii or I, II, III) and leading zeros. Pick a format from the dropdown or type your own template using {n} for the current page and {total} for the total page count.

Can I start numbering from a specific page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Set 'Start numbering from page' to control which physical page gets the first number, and 'First number' to control the value shown (e.g. start showing 1 on page 3). Pages before the start page will not be numbered.

No. Page numbers are added entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device — verify with the Network tab in DevTools.
